Description
The non-contact safety switches from the R-Safe RFID series are used for monitoring the position of doors and guards in machine safety applications.
Up to 16 switches can be wired in series while maintaining a CAT 4 / PLe /SIL 3 safety level. An additional signal output and a tri-color LED indicator are available to identify the status of individual switches. Integrated automatic reset, manual reset and EDM functionality are possible. The robust 300mA outputs can also be used to drive considerable loads.
The sensor/actuator sets can be purchased in one of three different coding levels; Teach-in coding, unique coding, actuator coded. Each coding level is in compliance with the coding type requirements set forth in ISO 14119.
The compact size, operates in any direction of approach, and an Ingress protection rating of IP65/IP67 (IP69K) protection offer the flexibility to use these switches in virtually any applications.
M12, splitter connectors are available to facilitate series connection of the switches outside the control panel. It is even possible to connect them in series while retrieving the annunciation signal for each individual switch.
