Solenoid Locking Switches
Some machines require time to wind down due to inertia, even after their power has been cut. Having a safety system that allows access to the machine when powered off is therefore not sufficient to maintain safety; this is where solenoid locking switches are useful. The solenoid locked switch provides a physical impediment that cannot be overcome by simply pulling at the gate, therefore access cannot be attained. The solenoid will lock or unlock the activation key into the switch for the time period of the wind down. The switches are made in either plastic or metal body systems, and stainless steel metal for high hygiene environments. Both power to lock and power to unlock models are available and can be tailored to the specific needs of each machine.
